I keep a drained hose rolled up in my heated basement to drag out to water the animals in the winter. Yesterday in the cold, dark morning, I brought it out, hooked it up to the pump faucet, drug it out to the goats, and it snapped off at the brass screwy-onny ring! I've never had a hose break right there before, and it was so depressing because I had actually spent money on a good, no-kink, lifetime guaranteed hose at D&B and it didn't even last one winter! Then I brought one of my drained hoses from the shop into the basement to hook up to the laundry faucet, and as I was dragging it out, but before I turned on the water, it snapped off at the same place, too! What luck. I got the piece to repair it and actually figured out how to do it, which is an unusual accomplishment for me
